I'm okay with the dates Bel suggested for end Oct.
Liz, I suggest we leave a bit of money for XXXX, for utilities and stuff, especially if we're staying more than a week. How much do you think we should give? Split $300 amongst us? That's about US$180, which should be a tenth of their rent/utilities.
I agree that we try to walk as much around Manhattan as possible. And save our money for buying and seeing stuff, at museums and flea markets. Also if we eat at restaurants and cafes we should save some change for the 10% tip thing.
I just realised today is my day off. So I'll spend some time looking around travel agents and through guide books.
